This month, our AP Cotentin flexible packaging site in La Haye-du-Puits was inspected by the Direction Régionale de l’Environnement, de l’Aménagement et du Logement (DREAL), as part of the IED review of our Installation Classée pour la Protection de l’Environnement.
The objective: to check that our activities comply with Best Available Techniques (BAT) to limit environmental impact.
The review confirms that our facilities comply fully with current standards.
This is an important recognition, made possible in particular by our waste heat recovery system, which is converted into energy.
📊 600 MWh of energy recovered every year
This performance contributes to reducing our energy consumption while improving the overall efficiency of our facilities.
As a reminder, the AP Cotentin site recycles and reuses volatile organic compounds (VOCs) thanks to the installation of an on-site Thermal Oxidizer. This approach not only reduces waste, but also reinforces sustainable development by reintroducing precious resources into our production process.
